• Professional Category Regulations (SOR/99-191) pursuant to paragraph 6(2)(b)(iii) of the Status of the Artist Act came into force on April 22, 1999. These regulations define the additional categories of professional artists who are eligible for coverage under the Act and are published in Part II of the Canada Gazette, May 12, 1999.
