Links to notice to bargain and scale agreements by:
This section provides an overview of scale agreements and collective bargaining between artists' associations certified by the Tribunal and producers subject to theAct. It includes lists of scale agreements concluded (with links to the actual documents) and notices to bargain issued by the parties.
For some recent scale agreements, we provide summaries prepared by Tribunal staff. The summaries are intended to provide quick overviews to help readers to identify areas they want to focus on in more detail by examining the actual agreements. We invite artists’ associations and producers to comment on the summaries, and we welcome suggestions as to how we might improve them.
You can search by artists’ association or by producer.
Whether you search by artists’ association or by producer, you will find the latest scale agreements, listed by the effective date and expiry date of the agreement. Past scale agreements between the parties, where they are available, are also listed. Scale agreements can be accessed by clicking on the links.
When applicable, the date of the latest notice to bargain is provided. A notice to bargain is a notice by one of the parties to renegotiate an existing agreement or to negotiate a first agreement. In some cases, agreements may have been extended without either party having issued a notice to bargain. It is therefore possible that agreements originally applying to periods now elapsed have been extended and are still in effect.
You will also find a link to notices to bargain issued and scale agreements concluded by artists associations with producers not subject to the Act for research and information purpose.
Please note that the information is not exhaustive and may not be entirely up to date. The Tribunal Secretariat asks artists' associations and producers to provide it with copies of all notices to bargain and scale agreements. In trying to keep the information current, the Secretariat must rely on the parties concerned.
